U-Dub

By those who live in Seattle, the University of Washington is called "U-dub". We road our AWESOME bikes all of about 10 miles from where we're staying to the legendary university campus.

And this is what we saw (prepare yourself) :

Yeah - they have a FOUNTAIN.

Not to mention how big this thing is - it would take me a good 4 or 5 minutes to walk around this monster of a fountain. I thought the economy was in a recession???

And that's not all! Feast your eyes on this:

They have a ROSE GARDEN, that surrounds the fountain.

Take THAT, Economy - oh, did you see our GIGANTIC ROSE GARDEN? Smell that? That's the smell of a well-endowed institute. Enjoy!

Ok, I'm just poking fun. Really, it was incredibley beautiful. Dad was so pleased with the school and how easy it was to explore the campus on bikes.

Seattle keeps surprising us how bike-friendly it is. Even the famous Greenlake park was well-populated with bikes and bike-roads. It was a lovely, sunny day, allowing the people of Seattle to enjoy the cool waters of Greenlake.
