Buried in presents

My Christmas gift from my parents :)

It started snowing right after we finished giving presents

This photo seemed appropriate.

Treasure Trove

I found these pictures and letters from my grandparents' past. I want to live in that attic now. There are gemstones hidden everywhere.

Behold.

Letters from my grandfather to my grandmother before they were married.
I've watched enough TV to know the two scenarios you wear gloves. Priceless antiques and dead bodies.

This might be my grandmother or her sister at her wedding?

My grandmother, early 20s, working as a dietary consultant at Vandiburn University.

Dad. It's all good until he puts on those glasses.

My grandparents - he's always kind of smirking.

Hill Crest Dairy Farm

It's like a temple for cows.

(Great) Uncle Billy pushing a cow over with his finger.

Very manly equipment.

Boarding the corn field.

A majestic stream of snot flowing liberally like the Shenandoah river.
Bam. Poetry.

Yes. These go on the udders, the boobs of cows.
And there's a whole room full of these.
You're welcome.

The office.

Massey Christmas Party

My Aunt Lisa and Uncle Charles held a Christmas party at their house, Saturday.

Highlights include:
  • meeting my cousin Jennifer's baby, Nicolas, for the first time
  • eating stuffing for the first time
  • tripping over something

"Jake", apparently. Im just reading the bag.
Nicolas being flown like an airplane, coming in for a landing.
He just looks like one of the "younglings" from Episode III.
He's either hyped up on sugar or has a really high midichlorian count.
    It's a book about something.
Nico, throwing blocks at me. Cousin Jennifer encouraging the violence.
*deep breath* conflicting feelings about the food.
    There were 4, 5 desserts.
Uncle Charles being taught how to make the whistling football whistle by Jake.
    Cousin of Uncle Charles'.
Nico being introduced by his father, Dmitri.
    OMG PINS.
No, but in all seriousness, this is an extremely sweet image.
