Let Me Introduce You To Neville
This is Neville.
I found him at my local Safeway while grocery shopping. We locked eyes from across the canned tomatoes isle and in that instant - I knew he was destined to come home with me.
I agonized over what to name him. I finally settled on "Neville" - a good, solid, comforting name. "Neville Longbottom?" you ask.
I'd like to think he was named after Neville Chamberlain.
I'd like to think I'm doing Chamberlain a favour by naming a plant after him - so few people remember him anyways.
So now Neville sits on my windowsill, guarding my house from ninjas, hobos, and other unwanted guests.
I sense the beginning of a great friendship.

On the Eve of Twenty Pt2
This is a song I would sing to my family, if I was as good looking as Will Smith.
Oh, and replace the lyrics "best man" with "best family".
I will never leave you. LIKE AN ODD SMELL.
On the Eve of Twenty
I think I'm having a mid-life crisis....early...
But the good kind. The kind that makes me review my life and write out a list things that I want to accomplish.
As I have no sense of privacy, here is that list:
It's been an interesting 20 years. Maybe it's time that I start acting like an adult and give something back.
Just not money though. Cuz I don't have any.

As I have no sense of privacy, here is that list:
- finish school with a respectable GPA (3.5 would be nice)
- start biking seriously again
- ride something fast and dangerous, just once. Hopefully a Kawasaki Ninja!
(I said JUST ONCE)
- be able to visit Izzy this summer
- remember to let my family that I love them

I Apologise for My Weekend
For your sakes, I would have wished my weekend to be filled with more car-chases, flying bullets and tight-rope walking - in general just more thrilling.
Unfortunately, so far I've just made bean soup and organised my recycling.
.... and I think I ate too much soup.

I'm good, you're good
I tried covering my face with my mug so your eyes don't bleed. By the way, my mug says TAIWAN in really big letters. Just thought that would make you jealous.
So school is good, the classes aren't that hard and the teachers are pretty decent. There are some odd characters in my classes - like the 19 year old who's engaged in my ANTH class, and the 70 year old Santa Claus in my business class, not to mention the chubby kid who insults the professor even though he's within hearing range.
The classes are run by the quarter system, which is so fast paced, you practically have to be a NINJA to keep up. This also gives some structure to your day as your daily checklist looks something like this:

1- Wake Up
2 - HOME WORK
3 - Eat. Maybe?
4 - MORE HOME WORK
5 - Sleep
6 - Wait, DON'T sleep. Silly me, just more homework
7 - Turn in HOMEWORK
8- Weep tears of blood because you are so happy you turned it in
Seriously though, I really do like my subjects and having to move quickly; it makes me feel powerful and in control of my life.
Not unlike when I was a kid and I would destroy a whole Lego-town, booming, "PREPARE TO MEET THY MAKER, WORMS!"
(jeez, kid, get a JOB why don't you?)
Now, some pictures.
(Our kitchen table. Sometimes the light comes in at a glorious angle)
(Not so glorious. Found this when cleaning out the kitchen.
Left by the previous renters.
Ok, now to BLOW YOUR MIND:
That used to be a jar of pickles.
I WISH I was kidding)
Well, that's all for today. I guess I'm officially contact-able again.
Be safe, eat fruit, and don't stick keys into electrical sockets. Just. Don't.
