My First Oil Paint

Painted with only palette knives.

Everyone keeps their linseed oil and turpentine in here.

We tape them up on the wall to dry. Mine's on the far right!

Garden Treats

I met up with Rachel, a Bio major, who invited me to hang out at the university farm.

I sketched the farm while Rachel harvested buckets of chard and tomatoes.

I got to take some tomatoes home and visited my own garden.

Olympic National Park Camping Trip

Went camping in the Olympic National Park.

Enjoy.

Day1 - Traveling There

On the road: 5 hours

  

Pit-stops: 
Smoked salmon lunch at Hama Hama seafood store 
and Port Angeles

Settling into camp for dinner

Day 2 - Hoh Rainforest

Woke up cold.

Made a fire and breakfast.

Found a 300 year old spruce tree on the way to the rainforest.

Following a path behind the spruce tree, we find a secret path to the river and explore the summer riverbed.

I make it to an island on the far side of the river.

Finally, we make it to Hoh Rainforest.

At the end of the day, we were pooped but happy.
